County Upper Basketball Academy are now recruiting student athletes for the 2020/21 season.

The academy has been recruiting students from all over the UK since 2008 to build strong, dedicated individuals that play a big part in the success of the team. The strong partnership with West Suffolk Wolves junior teams allows an elite pathway for players to develop and take their skills to the next level. The academy provides a platform for players age 16-19 to showcase talent and provides opportunities for them to play basketball abroad, whilst ensuring education remains a key priority.

Over the past 12 years, 42 of the County Upper Academy players have worked hard to gain a place at universities in the United States. The team has also gained a place in the final 4, had two teams successfully placed in the final 8’s and six teams in the sweet 16’s. Alongside this, the U17 Boys were National Runners up and the U18 Boys placed 3rd in the nation. Most recently, the U19 Girls made school history by becoming Co-National Champions in the 2019/20 season!
